by Lucy E. Carroll

The Bastet Worry-Stone and Other Tales is a collection of stories that portray ordinary people in extraordinary and sometimes bizarre circumstances.

The title story concerns an Egyptian artifact—a statue of Bastet—with unusual powers. The award-winning The Very Last Party at #13 Mallory Way takes two mothers into a world of magic and demons worked through…a computer.

These are just some of the wonders you will encounter as you journey into the delightfully imaginative stories of The Bastet Worry-Stone and Other Tales.
