by Dominic S. Arbisi

The protest among the college students in late 1960 reinitiated a need to put deep feelings into verse. Dominic S. Arbisi started to compile those poems, which attempted to counter the negative feelings youth were expressing about the country he loves deeply.

He and his brothers (four brothers; three of the received the purple heart) were in the armed forces from 1942 to 1951. Dominic’s brothers’ names are Ross, Tony, Larry, and Joe. Ross and Tony passed away in the last couple years. Dominic wants them to be remembered.
