ABOUT THE AUTHOR Ms. Johnston-Foley was born and raised in western Pennsylvania. Having attended schools in Pittsburgh, PA, she was offered opportunities to attend the Famous Artists School in Connecticut and several writing schools in the 1970’s, which she turned down due to other obligations at home. She worked with several large corporations in the Pittsburgh area before meeting her husband and choosing to start writing her first book. While working for the Mobil Oil Corporation, she met her husband, Bill, who was a safety manager for Mobil and an ex-Army Ranger officer. She has traveled overseas — with her favorite European country being England. Both she and Bill have seen “the world.” They have been married for twenty years.
